I am currently an assistant professor of Physics and Astronomy at Western University. My main research interests are nonlinear equations, with a focus on water waves. Before joining Western, I was a research fellow at the University of Toronto at the Institute for Aerospace Studies, trying to improve models for soot formation in gas turbine engines in order to reduce the negative impact of these engines on climate and human health.

I obtained my Ph.D. from the Applied Mathematics Department at the University of Washington in 2014, focussing on computing solutions and analysing their stability for water waves in the presence of surface tension. I went on to a research associate position at University College London, extending my thesis work to include the presence of ice. I also worked as a research associate in the Applied Mathematics Department at the University of Washington working on analysing stability of solutions to Hamiltonian partial differential equations. Part of that time, I had a fellowship at the Institute for Computational and Experimental Mathematics at Brown University.

I am always looking for students
